JQ PALMS :: JQ is a prominent stand-up comedian and improviser known for her witty delivery and parody songs. Her brand of comedy has been described as “stupid in a good way.” JQ was a featured comedian for the premiere opening of Comedy House New Orleans in June 2021 and has been performing there ever since. She’s an improv teacher at the New Orleans School of Comedy Arts and she teaches stand-up comedy classes at Boomerang Comedy Theater in Baton Rouge. Her weekly podcast with comedian friend Ryan Rogers is called “Seen Partners” and can be found on Apple Podcasts.

JQ has been a headlining performer at Hell Yes Fest, LGBTLOL Fest, The New Orleans Comedy Festival, The Bayou Boogaloo Festival, Thalia Women’s Comedy Festival, and Fete du Void. She recently toured the southeast with fellow comedians Matt LaRocca and Ryan Reynolds for the second annual “Fat Tuesday Comedy Tour.”

In 2019, she wrote, directed, produced, and performed her solo show titled “Smooth: A One-Woman Show in Two Acts,” and in 2022, she recorded her second “One-Woman Music-Ish Comedy Show” live at Comedy House New Orleans.

In January 2021, she captained the winning team for the first season of “Roast Fantasy League,” she was a judge for Season 2, and in 2023 she was inducted into the “Roast Fantasy League Hall of Fame.”

She is a mainstage cast member of the weekly improv comedy show called “Swamp City” and the ladies-only improv troupe “You”re Invited.”

Since 2022, she has opened for Luke Null, Greg Fitzsimmons, Giulio Gallarotti, and Tina Friml. This is JQ’s first time performing at 30/90 and she could not be more excited.

MATTHEW LAROCCA :: Matthew is a local comedian who has toured nationally in comedy clubs across the country. He has opened for Natalie Cuomo, Dan Lamorte, and Sean Patton, and was named one of 2023 Comics to Watch. He has performed at the Hell Yes Fest and the New Orleans Comedyfest 2022 and 2023, and is a fixture on the New Orleans scene. Known for his personally revealing humor, Matt has performed at the famed Chicago Laugh Factory and is a frequent performer at the Loony Bin of Little Rock, Arkansas. Matt is also an excellent “roast comic”, and was awarded the 2022 Roasters Choice Award at the Roast Fantasy League. Matt lives in Mandeville and loves performing in front of his hometown.

BEN COMPTON :: Humble, Hungry and Funny! That is Ben in a nutshell and his comedy reflects it from the moment he touches the mic. The Ben Compton Comedy experience seamlessly reaches mainstream audiences nationwide. Hailing from Mississippi, where he is a member of Hub City Comedy in Hattiesburg. Ben’s comedic journey began in 2014 after proudly serving in the United States military, Ben returned home from a combat deployment to Afghanistan and settled into his gift of entertaining audiences through story telling, relatability and impeccable comedic timing. In 2017, Ben was featured on Comedy Central as part of the second season of Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City, and in 2018 he was voted Best Local Comedian by Signature Magazine. Ben draws his comedy from humor in everyday situations where he is able to find the laughter and joy in every aspect of life and brings that same energy to each stage he performs on.
